WINC: Bringing the City of Workspaces to Life

- Animated intros

Winc is a national workplace supplies company with over 37,000 products spanning office, kitchen, and safety essentials. To showcase their vast product range, Winc partnered with an architectural visualisation team to produce detailed 3D walkthrough animations representing various “Workspaces” — environments where their products are used every day. Think of a miniature city filled with schools, hospitals, warehouses, and daycare centres, each highlighting a unique category of Winc’s offering.

.The concept

I was commissioned by Elastic Studio to craft a unifying visual concept that would tie these individual walkthroughs into one cohesive narrative. My solution began with the idea that everything starts with a sketch — the first spark of design on an architect’s drafting table. The sequence opens with blueprints, pencils, and fragments of a creative workspace, before unfolding into a vibrant, fully realised world: buildings rise, trees grow, cars move, and people animate into life.

Despite having the 3D city model provided, this was a technically demanding project — render-heavy, intricate, and requiring a strong creative throughline to bring coherence and energy to the entire campaign. Thankfully, the client was open and collaborative, and working alongside Catherine Terracini, Executive Producer at Elastic Studio, made the process a genuine pleasure.
